Ashari Hotel - Shanzu

The swimming pool was clean and refreshing on a hot day, and the gardens had a nice, green vibe. the location was great, very close to the beach and other expensive hotels. the price was also very economical for the area.

The reception area was a bit sketchy and unprofessional, more like a bar than a hotel. It was hard to find the hotel because the GPS coordinates on Google Maps were completely wrong.

We think it's an excellent base for staying in Mombasa. Single room included climate control and a writing table. There is a green a green garden. Location is in the heart of the city...

I loved the location of the hotel, it was in the heart of all the big and expensive beach hotels. The staff was very warm and cute, and they made me feel right at home. The breakfast made by the chef was wonderful, and he was very good at following up to make sure everything was okay. The hotel facilities were clean and the swimming pool was very well maintained.

Comfy rooms with basic amenities, including clean bathrooms and fans. the friendly and welcoming staff create a warm and homely atmosphere. the fruit salad and hearty breakfast are particularly delicious. the swimming pool and green gardens are well-kept and provide a great space to relax.

One aspect I didn't appreciate was the outdated mattress in the room.
